Tito Puente, “El Rey de los Timbales”, was born on April 20th, 1923 in New York City. To celebrate the legacy of one of our musical influences we want to give away for free download an exclusive Tito Puente remix we produced. In 2006 Thunderball and Fort Knox Five collaborated on an officially commissioned remix of “Ran Kan Kan” for the “Explorations; Classic Picante Regrooved” Compilation. The following year, 2007, we released our own mixed compilation “Fort Knox Five Reminted” which also featured the remix.
